22nd Annual Asparagus Valley Pottery Trail
Lucy Fagella, Serving Bowls
The Asparagus Valley Pottery Trail, April 25th-26th, 2026, 10-5 both days.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 22 years of this happy event! As one of the founders of this tour I am once again thrilled to be sharing this wonderful event with you.
Each pottery studio invites guest potters from near and far. My guests this year are Gay Smith and Louise Harter. Gay is coming all the way from North Carolina and Louise is from Connecticut. Both are long time potters, both have mastered the process of atmospheric firing in wood and/or soda. Take a look at Gay’s work here … Louise is not one for having a website, but you can find her work via The Rosenfield Collection.
This year we are featuring the incredible work of 31 talented artisans. You will have time to talk with the potters, see the studios and the creative process, and support the artists by purchasing their pottery. Handmade work, small local business, and the creative economy is just what we need right now in this crazy world.
Visit our website https://asparagusvalleypotterytrail.com/ for the map, and take the self guided driving tour through the picturesque landscapes of western Massachusetts.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a diverse array of handmade pottery that blends functionality with beauty. As you meander from studio to studio, immerse yourself in the tranquil charm of the valley and support the local restaurants and small shops throughout the valley. Check our sponsors here.
We are looking forward to visiting with you at our eight pottery studios! Make this your year to go on the Trail!
